1. Product DescriptionScotch Brand spray foam insulation are electrical grade, fast drying sealers and insulators in a pressurized can. These sealers protect surfaces against weather, moisture, corrosion, oil, alkalies and acids. The sprays can afford easy access to hard-to-reach spots.

Three sprays are available in the following colors:• 1601 - Clear

• 1602 - Red• 1603 - Black

Size: 16 oz. can       12 cans/case

2. Applications

• High dielectric strength, making for a better quality insulator.

• Use Insulating Spray sealer to spray over insulation on wire and cable splices, as a general-purpose sealer or for touch-up insulation on motor windings and frames.

• Used as a protective coating on electrical connections, switches, switchgear, terminal boards, electronic components, printed circuits, coils, windings and laminated cores.

• Also suitable as a flexible covering on construction drawings and similar items.

4. Application Techniques

Shake well. Open and shut valve COMPLETELY with forefinger when spraying. Keep fingertip behind spray head to avoid forming droplets on painted surface. Partial valve depression reduces pressure and causes faulty spray.

Absolute Must: Hold can no closer than 10 to 12 inches from surface being sprayed. To prevent clogging, turn can upside down and spray short jet of clear gas after each job. Do not expose to extreme hot or cold.

5. MaintenanceWhen necessary, remove sprayhead. Replace by holding finger over orifice to prevent accidental spray. If spray valve yields irregular pattern or fails to spray, inspect orifice for residues and scrape off with fingernail or soft object. Then twist spray head onehalf turn.
